YEREVAN. - Armenian Police Passport and Visa Department local offices registered 371,448 children in Armenian State Register of Population between January-May 2011, informs Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration press service.
Children constitute 11.6 percent of overall population of Armenia, which is a low rate. In Belarus, for instance, children constitute 18 percent of population, and in Ukraine the number is 16 percent.
