Saudi Arabia’s and Iran’s top officials held direct talks in an attempt to restore ties, Financial Times reports, citing officials. The first round of Iranian-Saudi talks was held on April 9 in Baghdad and was devoted to the attacks of the Yemen group of Houthis on Saudi Arabia, Financial Times’ sources report. An official told FT that the talks were positive.
