Another unit of the peacekeeping forces of the Armed Forces of Armenia today departed to Lebanon, as reported the news service of the Armenian Ministry of Defense.
“The Armenian peacekeeping unit has been carrying out its peacekeeping mission in Lebanon as part of the UNIFIL and under the Italian command since 2014. The Armenian peacekeepers’ service has been highly appreciated by the superior command several times,” the press release reads.
