YEREVAN. – National Assembly (NA) speaker Ararat Mirzoyan and French Senate president Gerard Larcher, who is in Armenia on an official visit, on Saturday planted an evergreen fir at the Alley of Speakers of the NA garden, as a sign of lasting Armenian-French friendship.
The other visiting French lawmakers also took part in this symbolic ceremony which has become a tradition, the NA informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
