History shows that the recognition of independence and sovereignty is not a guarantee of security, French Foreign Minister Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne told a briefing in Yerevan.
He was asked whether the time has come for France to recognize the independence of Artsakh in order to rule out bloodshed in the future.
As an example of what was said, Lemoyne cited Bosnia and Herzegovina, where a civil war began after the recognition of independence.
