The court REJECTED the motion to apply arrest as a pre-trial measure against Mayor of Meghri Mkhitar Zakaryan. This is what Zakaryan’s attorney Gayane Papoyan wrote on her Facebook page.
She added the following: “Courts are implementing justice that is visible for the public! Long live judges with dignity!”
The motion was filed under the case launched in relation to the incidents that took place in Syunik Province and under the elements of hooliganism.
