The United States must adapt its containment system to new challenges. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin stated about this during his remarks at John Aquilino’s inauguration as commander of Indo-Pacific Command, TASS reported.
America's main defense is still containment, Austin said, adding that technology has improved in recent years and changed the nature of war.
