Acting Minister of Defense of Armenia Vagharshak Harutyunyan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Armenia Fukushima Masanori.

As reported the Armenian Ministry of Defense, Harutyunyan congratulated the Ambassador on assuming his diplomatic mission, wished him success and expressed confidence that the Ambassador’s active and fruitful work will contribute to effective development of the cooperation between Armenia and Japan.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the regional security environment, the current threats and expected developments.
