The creation of the third high-voltage electric communication line with Iran will facilitate the exchange of electricity between Armenia and Iran. This is what acting Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan said in response to MPs’ questions in parliament today.

According to him, the sides are currently negotiating over extension of the periods for construction.

“Our trade turnover is growing, and the sides underscore the importance of the promotion of joint projects,” Avinyan said.
