A committee of the Congress of Deputies of Spain has accepted a pro-Armenian motion, according to the Facebook page of the Armenian embassy in Spain.

Accordingly, the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Congress of Deputies has accepted a motion urging the Spanish government to demand from the Azerbaijani authorities to:

Implement the November 9, 2020 agreement;

Show humane treatment of prisoners of war, to immediately release all Armenian civilians and servicemen detained in Azerbaijan as prisoners of war;

Provide information on all persons detained in Azerbaijan; and,

Withdraw troops from Syunik Province of Armenia.
