YEREVAN. – The founding convention of Armenian-Russian NGOs’ Union was held on Saturday in Yerevan.
Leader of Prosperous Armenia party, businessman and MP Gagik Tsarukyan was elected as chairman of the Union. He noted that the organization will not carry official character and will serve for real collaboration between reps of various public spheres of Armenia and Russia.
2200 delegates from 200 Armenian and 30 Russian NGOs participated in the convention.
