I don’t believe in surveys. We know that our ratings are growing. Today, we are at least the third party, and I know that for a fact, but we have greater pretensions. This is what Vice-President of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan told reporters today.

Ashotyan expressed certainty that their “I Have Honor” bloc will be represented in the future parliament. “My political party will have mandates, a faction and will be one of the pillars that will form the Cabinet. Everyone knows that the people in our list are people with honor and that our team is one of the best in Armenia. If Nikol [acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan] can just scream and shout and use swear words, we can do more than that. He will try to poison and discredit, but it won’t help,” Ashotyan said.

Ashotyan added that if the opposition wins the upcoming elections, it must set up not only a legitimate institution that will lead a probe into the circumstances of the war [in Nagorno-Karabakh], but also something like a truth committee. When told that Nikol Pashinyan’s former supporters are included in almost all the lists, Ashotyan said it is necessary to look forward, not be guided by the logic that existed in 2018.
