Azerbaijan poses a threat to security in Europe. This is what lawyer, international law expert Ara Ghazaryan said today, adding that, even though Azerbaijan is a member state of the Council of Europe and other European institutions, it persistently fails to fulfil its commitments.

Ghazaryan recalled that Azerbaijan launched its aggression with mercenaries and terrorists, adding that partnering countries and international organizations were informed about this, and the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) had taken the information as a basis.

“Over the past six months, the Armenian side has submitted 188 complaints to the ECHR. I believe the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will consider Azerbaijan’s failure to fulfill its commitments in the future,” he stated, adding that Armenia must place emphasis on Azerbaijan’s racism.

“Azerbaijan’s policy of racism poses a threat. The phony trial over captured Armenians is in progress,” he stated.
