NATO has warned Minsk about further consequences of the incident related to Ryanair. NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg says it is necessary to make it clear to Belarus that it will have to pay the price ‘for violations of fundamental international norms and rules’.

After his meeting with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Stoltenberg said the most important thing is to be certain that the agreed sanctions will be implemented.
