Armenia’s legislature today adopted the package of bills on making amendments to the Law on Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic (Psychoactive) Substances in the second and final reading.

In addition, the parliamentarians approved several bills in the first reading, including the bills on making amendments and supplements to the Tax Code, the package of bills on making amendments to the Land Code, the package of bills on making amendments to the Law on Energy Saving and Renewable Energy and related laws, the bill on making amendments and supplements to the Law on Reproductive Health of Humans and Reproductive Rights and the bill on making amendments to the Law on Medical Care for the Population.

The MPs also ratified the loan agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development on additional funding for disease prevention and control.
