Secretary of the Armenian National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan met with secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili on the sidelines of international conference on struggle against terrorism held in Tehran.

Jalili called on regional states to be vigilant on intervention of “non-regional forces”. He urged to strengthen Iranian-Armenian cooperation which is “an essential factor for peace, security and economic development of the region,” Iranian media reported.

Artur Baghdasaryan highlighted Iran’s role in regional security and invited Jalili to visit Yerevan.
