The ruling Civil Contract Party, led by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, on Monday started its election campaign in Armavir Province of Armenia—ahead of the snap parliamentary elections on June 20.

The first stop was Parakar village where Pashinyan delivered remarks and presented the party program.

To note, however, those accompanying Pashinyan had chased and then beaten a person in Parakar for shouting, "Nikol, traitor!"

The acting premier then headed to Etchmiadzin city where he again reflected on the army, the Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) issue, and the former authorities.

Pashinyan campaigned in Gay, Geghakert, and Aknalich villages, and in Metsamor town, too.

He is scheduled to visit Mrgashat, Pshatavan, and Karakert villages as well.

And the last stop will be Armavir town.
