YEREVAN. - Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II left for St Petersburg on Monday to participate in the events dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the local Armenian community.

Head of the Russian diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Bishop Ezras Nersisyan and representatives of the local Armenian community accompany Karekin II.

His Holiness Karekin II visited St Katarine church in St Petersburg on the first day of his visit. The Armenian spiritual leader also attended a book exhibition at Saltykov-Shchedrin Library, the press service of Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
