A crowd burned a man alive after blaming him for causing the forest fires in Algeria, APS reported.

The forest fires have taken the lives of at least 69.

The murder of 38-year-old Jamel Bin Ismayil took place at Larbaa Nath Iraten, which the forest fires affected the most.

Amnesty International has called on the Algerian authorities to immediately investigate the death and pledge that the violent act won’t go unpunished.
