Algeria has recalled its ambassador to France, Mohamed Antar-Daoud, for consultations because of irresponsible statements by President Emmanuel Macron, Le Monde reported.

Algerian leader Abdelmadjid Tebboune noted that his state categorically does not accept any interference in its internal affairs.

The Algerian ambassador has been recalled, the Algerie Presse Service news agency reported, citing the presidential administration.
