Not a week goes by without a single event that is not additional proof that [PM] Nikol Pashinyan continues to fulfill—through his operative connection—the promises to be made or have already been made. Anna Mkrtchyan, an MP from the opposition "With Honor" Faction, stated this Wednesday during a briefing with reporters in the National Assembly of Armenia—and commenting on the information that Armenia has opened its airspace for the mainland Azerbaijan-exclave Nakhchivan flights.

She claimed that all these promises are anti-Armenian, that Armenia has become an administrative-territorial unit in the region, not a country with a functional subjectivity, and added that now it has an occupied interstate road, but the Armenian authorities are attempting to present this as a small road incident.

Answering a reporter's question on how she assesses the fact that it is Baku that reports about Azerbaijani planes flying through Armenia’s airspace, the opposition MP said this is a disgrace and conditioned it by the fact that PM Pashinyan had avoided—from the UN rostrum—speaking about several countries that had unleashed a terrorist war against the two Armenian states.

Mkrtchyan added that such behavior of the Armenian authorities is aimed at not irritating Turkey and Azerbaijan and calming them down.

"At the moment, not only is there no security system in Armenia, but there is no one who wants to maintain that security system," she said.

And reflecting on Nikol Pashinyan's statement in Lithuania that Armenia will not be pulled into a conspiracy against Iran, the opposition lawmaker claimed that Pashinyan has worsened relations with Armenia’s strategic and friendly country to such an extent that today he makes guarantees not to go against it in case of a conspiracy, whereas no one has talked about a conspiracy.
