If Armenia fails to become a leader in mechanical engineering and machine tool building, it can ensure proper quality of manufactured products. This is what Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Varos Simonyan said during today’s session of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration of the National Assembly of Armenia.

Simonyan even brought an example. “Armenia doesn’t have an aircraft construction firm, but there are companies that manufacture items for Russian military planes. With necessary engineering potential and through correct application, Armenia will be able to achieve a certain outcome,” Simonyan said.

Moreover, he stated the importance of creating an appropriate environment and engaging businesses.
