Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Grand Mufti of the Caucasus Allahshukur Pashazadeh have arrived in Moscow to meet with Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia, the press service of the Division for Relations with Churches Abroad of the Patriarchate of Moscow reports.

“During the visit, on October 12, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II will meet with His Holiness Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia. On October 13, the trilateral meeting of Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and all Russia, Supreme Archimandrite and Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II and Grand Mufti of the Caucasus Sheikh Allahshukur Pashazdeh devoted to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will take place,” the press release reads.

In particular, “the peacemaking mission of the spiritual leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan in the South Caucasus” will be discussed during the meeting.
