YEREVAN. - Demand for gas decreased in Armenia in recent years due to high price of fuel on the world market and the fact that Armenian drivers tend to prefer fuel gas to petrol, said the head of Mika Limited company Michael Baghdasarov on Wednesday.
Touching upon Armenian market’s petrol pricing policy Baghdasarov said that it is largely determined by world prices for fuel and transportation costs.
"Since world price of petrol is very high, not mentioning the cost of transporting fuel to Armenia through two seas, respectively the prices on the Armenian market are high," explained the entrepreneur.
He specified that the highest are the costs of cargo transportation through Georgia.
"We still have to work with Georgia," he added
