YEREVAN. -  US dollar is gradually reviving its positions in the Armenian market.

The average USD/AMD exchange rate made AMD 370.66/$1 on NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange, Wednesday. US dollar went up by 1.38% as compared with July 1, the last day of transactions on stock exchange. Sales totaled $2.4 million.

Last week Central Bank of Armenia purchased $1.65 million for the first time this year to prevent AMD revaluation.

Exchange offices purchase and sell US dollar at the rate of AMD 369-371/$1.
