Do the officials realize the accountability for their statements when they say that some parts of the roads of Armenia [now] belong to Azerbaijan? The Human Rights Defender (Ombudsman) of Armenia, Arman Tatoyan, asked this question at a press conference Wednesday

According to him, the elimination of border issues shifts them from the domain of human rights to the geopolitical domain, and this is beneficial only for Azerbaijan.

"You must understand that human beings, human rights are behind all these processes. I'm talking about [the fact] that the Azerbaijanis have infiltrated [into Armenia], and they [i.e., the Armenian state agencies] not only do not deny, but also give political instructions to the representatives of the local self-government bodies to say that as if such a thing did not happen. Although, all this is necessary to achieve compensation," Tatoyan added.
