Japan and Germany have launched two-day joint military exercises in the Pacific Ocean.
Japan’s Defense Minister Nobuo Kisi is expected to examine the German Bavaria frigate, which arrived in Japan on Friday. According to Japan’s command, the main goal of the military exercises is to increase the capacities of the self-defense forces and strengthen cooperation with the German Navy.
