During today’s session, the Armenian government approved the proposal to sign the fourth protocol for making amendments to the Charter of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) of 7 October 2002.

This concerns the expansion of sectors of cooperation within the scope of the CSTO and the early termination of the CSTO Secretary General.

The rationale of the decision states that the protocol complies with Armenia’s foreign policy and the international commitments that the country has assumed.
