In 2022, the government will significantly cut the expenditures of the Ministry of Environment and plans to carry out six programs that will include 22 actions. This is what Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan said during today’s discussion on the draft state budget for 2022 in parliament.

For that, the government plans to allocate a total of AMD 6,771,000,000, compared to AMD 9,214,700,000 in 2021. At the same time, the government plans to allocate nearly AMD 335,257,000,000 to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure.

“Compared to 2021, the growth will comprise nearly 19.6%,” Khachatryan said, adding that, out of those funds, nearly AMD 131,040,000,000 will be allocated for the solution to problems in the territorial administration sector,” he added.
