The Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia on Tuesday gave a positive conclusion to the draft of the country’s state budget for 2022.

At the meeting of this committee, Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan stated, in particular, that this matter had earlier been debated on in detail at the joint meetings of the NA standing committees.

"The draft state budget for 2022 has been formed on the basis of the government's economic and social domains’ priorities envisaged by the 2021-2026 program. Once approved by the National Assembly, it will become a legal basis that guarantees financial support for the government's program," the minister added.
