It is necessary to understand that the Armenian and Ukrainian peoples are fraternal, and this is irrefutable. This is what People’s Deputy of Ukraine, Head of the Armenia-Ukraine Interparliamentary Friendship Group Artyom Dmitruk told reporters during the concluding conference of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine held in Yerevan today.

According to him, the main emphasis should be placed on the friendship between the two peoples. “Today, a lot of work has to be done to strengthen the friendship. The President of the Union of Armenians of Ukraine works hard. As far as the political statements and political dialogue are concerned, they exist. I am a deputy who received the votes of the people and have all the rights to present certain political moods of my country, and this concerns not only me, but also the other deputies of the Ukrainian parliament,” Dmitruk said, adding that Armenia and Ukraine need to have friendly ties and cooperate in various sectors, including trade.

“We need to support each other so that there is always an opportunity to extend a helping hand to the Armenians and Ukrainians,” the Ukrainian MP mentioned.
