At least one fifth of the total number of deputies of the National Assembly of Armenia had proposed to hold an urgent discussion on clarification of the fate of prisoners of war, hostages, missing persons and other persons being held and their return to the homeland which interest the public.

The session was supposed to be held behind closed doors today. However, after the break, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan declared that the issue will be removed from the agenda for regular sessions since the main speaker is absent.

The opposition “Armenia” and “With Honor” factions of the National Assembly boycotted today’s parliamentary session.
