My deputy visited Syunik and Vayots Dzor Provinces yesterday; we conduct on-site needs assessments on a regular basis and promptly meet the needs. This is what Minister of Health of Armenia Anahit Avanesyan told reporters in parliament today, touching upon the question whether paramedics manage to reach patients on time when the roads of certain villages of Syunik Province to Kapan are shut down and people need to travel 150 km to reach Kapan.
“All the villages will be provided with necessary first aid kits. The paramedics centers in Kapan and Goris will have additional SUVs for paramedics. They have already been provided and will be provided in the future as well. We will fully ensure health of the residents of those villages. There is no problem with reaching the destination,” she added.
