A high-ranking delegation of the United Arab Emirates will soon visit Tehran since the Persian Gulf country seeks to weaken the tension in the relations with Iran, Reuters reports, citing its sources.

The UAE representative said the high-ranking delegation is scheduled to visit Tehran soon, but refused to affirm whether the delegation will be headed by the Chief National Security Advisor of the UAE.

Diplomatic Advisor to the UAE President Anwar Gargash on Monday said the UAE is taking steps to ease the tension with Iran and stated that the UAE is still deeply concerned about the line of conduct of Iran in Iraq, Syria, Yemen and Lebanon.
