VIENNA. - Honorary President of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, Portuguese MP Joao Soares will be appointed OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President’s Special Representative in South Caucasus.
On Friday the President of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Petros Efthymiou invited Armenian and Azerbaijani delegates to discuss the candidacy of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President’s Special Representative in South Caucasus.
Ever since Goran Lennmarker finished his activities, this position remained vacant. Petros Efthymiou decided to nominate Joao Soares, who is acceptable for both Armenia and in Azerbaijan.
