Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said this Thursday in a briefing with reporters after the Cabinet meeting of the government—and referring to Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan’s statement that, probably, there will be no 6.5% economic growth, but it will be up to 6% in Armenia.

And asked whether the Ministry of Economy is not trying to be prudent or whether it has more “romantic” views regarding economic growth in Armenia, the minister responded: "I would say: from an optimistic realist to an optimist."

Kerobyan added that according to the data of the first three quarters of 2021, there is a 1.5% economic decline in Armenia’s agriculture.
