After the recent provocations of Azerbaijan, the situation on the border is currently stable. Andranik Kocharyan, a member of the majority "Civil Contract" Faction in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia and Chair of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security, stated this Friday during the traditional press briefings at the NA.
Nevertheless, the politician believes this shouldn’t serve as an occasion to become weak.
“This doesn’t mean we need to stop being alert. It is necessary to combine all the efforts of the country so that the adversary fails to escalate the situation with its actions. Our objective is to stand with the Armed Forces, but through actions, not words,” Kocharyan clarified.
