By announcing the proposal of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to start preparing for demarcation of borders, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan is creating the impression that there is harmonization in the Armenian-Russian relations. Tigran Abrahamyan, an MP from the opposition "With Honor" Faction in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia and a security expert, noted this Friday during the traditional press briefings at the NA.

The parliamentarian is certain that, in reality, the issue hasn’t been solved and that there is still a high risk of military operations so long as Azerbaijani soldiers remain in the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia.

According to him, if the Armenian authorities continue to act this way, in two to three years, Azerbaijan won’t need to carry out demarcation and delimitation since it will always get what it wants through the use of force.
