The participants of the protest held by Zartonk Party and “5165” political party met with deputies of the opposition factions of the National Assembly of Armenia near the parliament building and demanded that their demand presented outside of the National Assembly be presented in parliament as well.

“The people elected the parliament, not the government and Nikol Pashinyan. So, we ask you to proceed with the demand to make sure the content of the document is disclosed so that the people aren’t surprised and can prevent any unfavorable process,” member of the movement Menua Soghomonyan said.

Deputy of the opposition “Armenia” Faction of the National Assembly Artsvik Minasyan emphasized that the faction has been trying to make sure the demand is fulfilled for a long time now and has even organized hearing over these issues on Nov. 25.

“It’s definitely right that our sovereign territories can’t be transferred through a signature, through negotiations or simply illegally, behind the people’s back. Moreover, the right of the people of Artsakh to self-determination may not become a subject for bargain,” he said.
