If Moscow’s proposals for demarcation and delimitation are acceptable for the Prime Minister of Armenia, then they are in Armenia’s interests. This is what Chair of the Standing Committee on Defense and Security of the National Assembly of Armenia Andranik Kocharyan told reporters in parliament, asked what proposals Moscow has made in regard to demarcation and delimitation that are acceptable for the Armenian premier.

“There is a legal ground for the maps dating back to the 1920s, and this provides Armenia with the opportunity to negotiate and have expectations. There are many non-governmental organizations that if the government doesn’t agree on the maps with them, they will shut down streets. At some point, nothing will be a secret, but many things will remain secret until that moment comes. This is the process,” Kocharyan said.
