It’s the first time that direct communication is being established between the defense ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during today’s press conference.

“This was improvised since there were reciprocal allegations about who violated the ceasefire. The communication has been established, and this is itself appreciable. I also appreciate the Azerbaijani president’s decision, and time will tell how effective it will be,” he said.
