YEREVAN. – Number of Armenians visiting Turkey during past five months increased by 8,8 percent compared to last year. 18,835 Armenians visited Turkey during Jan-May of this year, Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

5,256 Armenians visited Turkey in May, which is 6.27 percent more than last year.

69,323 Armenians visited Turkey in 2010, which is in its turn higher by 7 percent compared to 2009.

Azerbaijanis made 45 percent of visitors in Turkey, which is a record. Meanwhile Israeli visitors showed 58 percent decrease.
