Narek Mantashyan, head of the “Alternative” NGO and a member of the opposition "Armenia" Bloc—led by second President Robert Kocharyan—has been detained. His lawyer, Aleksandr Kochubayev, wrote about this on Facebook.
"A motion for [his] arrest has been filed," the attorney added.
Mantashyan has been charged with large-scale robbery in the main Armenian government building on the night of November 9-10 last year.
