Azerbaijan has supposedly addressed Bosnia & Herzegovina with the request for identification of the remains of those who fell during the first war in Nagorno-Karabakh. This is what Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said during a press conference with Foreign Minister of Bosnia & Herzegovina Bisera Turkovic.

“Bosnian specialists are ready to help Azerbaijan with this,” the Bosnian FM said.

According to Bayramov, it’s about the fraternal tombs that have allegedly been found in the territories under the control of Azerbaijan.

The Azerbaijani authorities claim that nearly 4,000 people went missing during the first war in Nagorno-Karabakh. Based on the data of the Armenian side, nearly 1,000 people went missing from Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
