We proceed from the agreements of November 26, and take the case to delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the establishment of a future demarcation commission—with Russian advisory assistance at the request of the parties. This was stated by the official representative of the Russian foreign ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on European Council President Charles Michel’s statement on the readiness of the EU to assist in the process of delimitation and demarcation of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border.

"Moreover, we [i.e., Russia] welcome the international efforts aimed at the normalization of the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. At the same time, it is very important to take into account the regional realities, the agreement between Yerevan and Baku, as well as the added value from it. For our part, we will continue to provide all necessary assistance—including advisory—to the parties," Zakharova added.
