Two earthquakes hit the coasts of Kamchatka Peninsula in one hour, Interax reports.

The first earthquake hit the coasts at 4:45 a.m. on Sunday with a 4.0-magnitude. The hotbed was in Sea of Okhotsk, near the west wing of the peninsula, at a depth of 421 km, and the epicenter was 70 km northwest from Ust-Bolsheretsk.

After about an hour, another earthquake with 3.5 magnitude took place near the east coast of the peninsula. The hotbed was at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, at a depth of 51 km, and the epicenter was 75 km northeast from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.

“There are no victims and devastations. The threat of a tsunami hasn’t been reported,” a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Kamchatka reported.
