The Brazilian customs service found about 2 tons of cocaine in the country's largest port, Santos, in the state of Sao Paulo, Globo reports.

More than 700 kg of drugs hidden in a container with orange juice were destined for delivery to Spain, and more than half a ton of cocaine was found in a container of sugar being sent to Africa. And the day before, 560 kg of drugs were found in the coffee batch.

This smuggled product was detected by means of X-ray scanners of the containers, the data of which were later confirmed by detection dogs.

According to the statistics of the department, during the last six years this customs house has prevented the delivery of 107 tons of drugs abroad through the Port of Santos alone, of which more than 16 tons were confiscated in 2021.
