Afghanistan said it will create a special suicide battalion to be part of their future army, The Khaama Press reports.

Deputy Minister of information and culture and spokesperson of the Taliban Zabiullah Mujahid said that the battalion will be part of their special forces and will operate under Defense Ministry.

Zabiullah Mujahid said the battalion will be used during special operations. He also informed that women will be recruited as required, specialists who have served in the past also will get a place in the future army.

The defense ministry had earlier said they were working on a 100,000-strong army that would be fully equipped. The defense ministry has reportedly sent suicide bombers to Afghanistan's northern border with Tajikistan, but this news has not been officially confirmed.
