Kazakhstan has suspended the entry of foreign nationals into the country in connection with the introduction of a state of emergency. This was reported by RIA Novosti on Thursday, quoting the Kazakh embassy in Tashkent.
A state of emergency was imposed in all regions of Kazakhstan on Wednesday, due to the unrest. The list of restrictions includes a curfew from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., the establishment of commandant's offices headed by police chiefs, a ban on mass events, and restrictions on freedom of movement, including vehicles.
