The head of WHO technical group, Maria van Kerkhove said in her Twitter that the World Health Organization (WHO) has excluded the possibility of a new hybrid deltacron strain.

The expert said that a combination of strains of coronavirus is not observed, and the finding of Cypriot scientists could have been caused by contamination of the sample or equipment during genetic sequencing, which may have led to a laboratory error.
